Do parents or students need to create an account?
No. Parents get emails with secure links that only work for them and expire after a while. From those links they can confirm lessons, view and pay invoices, and upload homework.
How do card payment fees work?
When a parent pays an invoice by card, TutorFlow's 5% fee and a 1.7% + 30c card processing fee are taken out before the rest reaches your bank account. On a $320 invoice, you'd receive $298.26. Bank transfers have no fee because the money goes straight to you.
How does the free trial and launch offer work?
Your first month is free (a card is needed to start). After that, the launch offer gives you 50% off for 12 months — $12.50/month — then it's $25/month. Paying yearly? It's $125 for your first year, then $250/year. All prices include GST.
Can parents pay by bank transfer instead?
Yes. Your BSB and account number appear on every invoice. When the money arrives, mark the invoice as paid with one click.
Does it work with Zoom and Google Meet?
Yes. Save your meeting link once and it's included in every reminder email for online students, so parents and students always have it to hand. In-person lessons work too.
I tutor students in a different state. What about timezones?
You set your own timezone and TutorFlow handles daylight saving. Lesson times in reminders are always labelled with the timezone, so a 4 pm lesson in Brisbane is never mistaken for 4 pm in Sydney.
Can I cancel?
Yes, any time from Settings › Billing. Cancel during the free month and you won't be charged at all. After that you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for, and you can export your data before you go.
